Zelenskyy named the number of losses in the war

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia has killed 45,100 Ukrainian soldiers since the full-scale invasion began, with 390,000 cases of battlefield injuries. The exact number of prisoners of war and missing soldiers remains unclear. He claimed Russia’s losses are far greater, with around 350,000 killed and up to 700,000 wounded.

Ukraine’s General Staff estimates total Russian losses at 842,930. The UK predicts Russian casualties may exceed 1 million by May. Moscow does not disclose numbers but admitted receiving 48,000 missing soldier inquiries.

The Kremlin is recruiting foreign fighters, including North Koreans, though their presence on the front is now decreasing.
