Earlier today, the Netherlands announced that it would contribute more than €200 million "for the rapid delivery of additional air defense and artillery ammunition for Ukraine"

€150 million will go to the German effort to procure long-range air defense assets.

€60 million will go to procuring short range air defense systems

Among all good news, bad news as well. Russian recon drones manage to penetrate Ukrainian airspace much deeper recently... A MiG-29, S-300 launcher and Pelikan 79K6 radar were damaged/destroyed at Aviators'ke air base near Dnipro. This comes in addition to yesterday's footage which showed a S-300 launcher being hit, and three MiG-29 (of which 1 was out of service for a while already) being targetted.

This is roughly 100km from the front line. The exact date on which this footage was shot has not been determined.xx( xx( xx( xx(

Production of Challenger 3 tanks has begun in the UK

The last, eighth, Challenger 3 prototype has rolled off the Rheinmetall plant's assembly line and is already demonstrating its capabilities in tests. Now the tank is going into mass production. A total of 140 units are to be built.

The Challenger 3 is armed with a 120-mm L55A1 smoothbore gun that can fire most NATO shells. The tank has a speed of 60 km/h and is equipped with a new composite armor package known as EPSON, as well as the Trophy active protection system.
