The Glazers' feelings on Sir Jim Ratcliffe revealed after Man United 'travesty'
The Glazer family are reportedly growing frustrated with Sir Jim Ratcliffe's management of Manchester United since he acquired a minority stake in the club in 2024. Ratcliffe purchased a 25% share in United as part of a deal worth approximately £1.2billion, with his INEOS group taking responsibility for overseeing football operations.
However, the Glazers retain control over any potential sale of the club. As part of the agreement, Ratcliffe also pledged an additional £245million in investment, bringing his total financial commitment to around £1.5billion.
The additional funding was intended to support future infrastructure improvements at Old Trafford, although results on the pitch have shown little sign of significant improvement. The Glazer family, who continue to monitor developments at Old Trafford from afar, are now said to be deeply disappointed with how the club has been run under Ratcliffe's leadership.
