Exploratory talks held over Crysencio Summerville as transfer clarity emerges

Interestingly from that Sky Sports report, Manchester United have reportedly held exploratory talks with West Ham United over Crysencio Summerville.

The Holland international is said to be the club's number one target for the left wing position.

Andrey Santos is undergoing a Manchester United medical, according to Sky Sports.

The midfielder is set to make the cross-Premier League switch from Chelsea for £48million plus £2million in add-ons. The Londoners also have included a 10 percent sell-on clause as part of the agreement, it has been claimed.

Santos is in search of regular first-team minutes but saw his efforts hindered at Stamford Bridge.

New United stahim revealed

Manchester United have confirmed the club's new 100,000-seater stahim will be built on land recently purchased from Indurent located around 350 metres away from Old Trafford.

The club have yet to reveal if there are any plans with the existing stahim.

The new ground will be the centrepiece of what is being called a Stahim District, which will be purpose-built for sport, entertainment and year-round activity, with the new stahim serving as the flagship landmark of the wider Trafford Wharfside development.

Despite reports to the contrary, there is no reason to believe the Ederson deal is in jeopardy. MEN Sport reported last week that the only delay in announcing Ederson's arrival was his participation at the World Cup. The medical for the midfielder has not been completed yet, but United may choose to give the Brazil international a break before completing that.

Fenerbahce have reportedly submitted a bid to Olympique Marseille for Mason Greenwood.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Marseille are in the final stages of negotiations over a fee, which is believed to be €40m plus add-ons to get close to the €50m wanted by the Ligue 1 club.

Manchester United are entitled to 40 percent of any agreed fee because they inserted a 40 percent sell-on clause into the deal when they sold Greenwood to Marseille.

Manchester United might be closing in on the signing of Andrey Santos- but they have also been linked with a move for Bruno Guimaraes.

And now the Chronicle is reporting that Guimaraes' agent has given Arsenal encouragement that the Newcastle United captain wants to leave St James' Park.

The report adds there is interest from the Gunners and Mikel Arteta's side have been told an offer of over £60m could be enough to net the South American star.

Ruben Amorim has admitted to making mistakes during his time as Manchester United boss

Speaking at his first press conference since taking over as AC Milan’s head coach, Amorim admitted: “It’s hard to explain the mistakes because for that I would have to explain all the context of the last adventure.

“It’s hard to say to you every mistake. The only thing to say is I learned a lot and I did some mistakes.

“I didn’t have the opportunity, and I’m sorry for that, to say something to the Manchester United fans, I’m really proud to be their coach for a year in that time.

“But now is a different history. There are a lot of things I could do better in the last experience but sometimes it’s like that. You need to learn to find the right spot to reach a different level and that’s my thinking here.”

Before he added: “Everyone learns from their experience. I learned a lot. I did some mistakes. There are some things I will try to change and there are some things you never change. But I think I will be a better (coach).”
